The kids really enjoyed the pineapple buggy ride introducing the pineapples. At the end of the ride, the real business begins. Sampling everything from juice, wine, fruit, cake, jelly, sweets, everything, you can actually get a well balanced meal by just sampling. We ended up buying lots of cake, lots of wine, and a lot of other stuff too. Look... More

it was drizzling when we were on our way so we had lunch at the nearby famous ufuya restn (written as 大家) about 5mins drive away. am glad that i did cos this place only had a small cafe inside. the park is pretty interesting with a self automated car, totally sheltered if necessary, and it goes around the park... Well, the Nago Pineapple Park is very accessible and has several parking spots nearby, impossible to miss (flashing colors). The entrance fee (600 YEN/person) is simply scandalous for what they offer. The park consists in the following "items": 1. Picture taken of you before anything, with a pineapple mascot (sorry for the worker). 2. Visit in an automated ride of... More

This was a stop as part of a larger tour of northern Okinawa, so the fee was included as part of that package. Walking tour was nice, and the samples were really great! Everything from pineapple cake, to pineapple wine, juice, vinegar, to pineapple chocolate. Much cheaper to buy pineapple products in Taiwan, but definitely a worthwhile stop.

Short tour either by automatic golf cart or you can walk. We walked and saw plenty. It took us about 45 minutes to get completely through it. Wine tasting and food tasting was excellent. You will likely come away with some yummy treats. There is a fee.

I it a supplement to a shopping mall with pineapple products. However, the sheer Japanese madness of the whole thing made the experience enjoyable. From the pineapple song to the fact, that you have pineapple products of all kinds (wine, soap, ...) and almost everything tries to be kawaii but at the same time totally serious. It cost only 600Y,... More

Sorry but this is truly LAME. I have no idea how it gets on so many lists of places to go in Okinawa? There were samples of lots of things, but only to entice you to buy something, which was generally grossly overpriced! Maybe for very little children, but then the whole idea is to buy their products... We also... More

there's just no point in reviewing this place harshly. it is exactly what it looks like from the outside. there's beautiful gardens that you tour through on an automated pineapple cart. they are not so big, and the ride is not so long. and then you meander through some exhibits. some of them are about pineapples. there's a display of... I visit this attraction maybe 2-3 times a year (military living here on second tour). Each time we go we definitely enjoy it. I assume that for many people this will be a first time visit and if that's the case I would say it's only really worth visiting if you plan it with another attraction. The reason I say... More
