. . . as it was located in the aquarium complex at Kesennuma Port, next to the Shark Museum. You could see a variety of fishes frozen in blocks of ice, and no doubt, quite unique as I have never seen it elsewhere in Japan. I was fortunate to visit Kesennuma twice before the tsunami hit, in 2004 and 2010.... More

氷の水族館は、本当に楽しいしおもしろい場所でしたが、津波に襲われた。2012年6月01の時点では、博物館が再構築されていません。 今後の回復にアップデートをチェックしてください! The Ice Aquarium, which was a really fun and interesting place, was hit by the tsunami in 2011. As of June 1, 2012, the museum has not been rebuilt. Please check for recovery updates in the future!
