Took a 20 minute bus ride from the toyooka train station here. Not that picturesque as I have expected,not much of photo opp backdrops. Good to just enjoy and see a little town, famous for soba noodles. Make sure you check the bus & train arrival/departure itinerary closely when planning your trip there. We drop by this old castle town on our way back to Osaka from Kinosakionsen. Its a small town and we spent about 3 hours covering the town and castle ruins. We poped in to Izushi on the way from Kinosaki Marine World cute little town with lots and lots of soba noodle restaurants.
