One of the best moment of my Japan trip

I went there to watch Hanshin Tigers vs Hiroshima Carps. Since I'd read lots of Baseball manga and all the players' dream was 'going to Koshien'. Well, that's my dream as well. LOL I love baseball but since it's not popular in my country so I hardly had a chance to watch in the stadium. I'd been to Safeco Field... More

If you love sport and happen to be in the Osaka-Kobe area, then this is a must. It is so much fun! There is constant singing, chanting and drumming throughout the game. The fans couldn't of been nicer as well to us two foreigners, even giving us the special rocket balloons for the 7th inning. Also, having beer vendors walking... More

If you're a fan of sports or of just having fun, this is the place to go! The crowd cheers non-stop from the first pitch to the last out. Everyone knows the songs for each player, and everyone in the park sings and cheers together. The ballpark itself is beautiful. One tip - buy the balloons and the baseball bat... More

We've been fans of the Hanshin Tigers for a few years now. I had been to the ballpark on a prior trip, but this time we went and got to sit on the home (first base line) side. It was a blast. BEer girls come around quite frequently, as well as non-beer vendors. There are plenty of options for food... More

I have heard many things about Hanshin Tiger games and it was a focal point around our trip to Osaka. In the beginning, it was a little quite and not what I was expecting, that quickly changed. Once most of the fans started arriving after getting off work. It was the most lively baseball game I have ever been too.... More

Its more like Triple A baseball done the Japanese way. It comes with cute beer girls with kegs on their backs, phallax shaped balloons launched into the air twice, once during the 7th inning stretch and the moment the 3rd out occurs in the 9th inning IF the Tigers win. You have the mascot dancing competition during the diamond repair... More

If you like baseball, what a great place to experience contemporary Japanese culture in picturesque Koshien Stadium. Fans sing for the entire game. The climax is a massive release of balloons during the seventh innning stretch (middle of the seventh inning) after singing the home team's (Hanshin Tigers) song. The atmosphere is joyous. No angry berating of umpires or opposing... More

My husband loves Japanese baseball, so we decided to join the stadium tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and we had some times for photo shooting wearing Hanshin Tiger's uniforms. We walked around everywhere, but our guide says we almost never see players even during the season. We for sure will come back and also watch the baseball game next... More

The Hanshin Tigers fans are renowned for their enthusiasm and it is certainly worth going to a game at Koshien Stadium in Osaka if you can. [Known as the Wrigley Field of Japan]. It is helpful, but certainly not entirely necessary to know something about baseball, which the Japanese are as enthusiastic about as the Indians are about cricket. This... More

Even the cheapest of seats provide a decent view. You can go day of to buy tickets, and tickets in left or right field run at 1,900 yen. If you're a fan of baseball, definitely worth a visit. The fans are passionate, the team is usually one of the better teams in the league, and the stadium itself is one... More
