Owner description: Skylark Maize Maze and Funyard offers an a-maze-ing family day out. The giant maze has over 3km of twisting pathways to cornfuse you. This year Skylark is commemorating the 100th anniversary of the First World War. Navigate your way through the maze, find the clues and discover a giant poppy made from poppies, an amazing sight. Find your ration stamps in the maze and collect them in your mess tin. In the Funyard play area children can meet the farm animals, and go wild on the attractions including pedal-go karts, obstacle course, giant inflatable slides and more. The Happy Hands trail is a fun trail through the woods collecting coloured finger prints. Compare your coloured fingers to the chart at the end to see what the Happy Hands trail says about you. Prepare yourselves for 50 feet of zip-zooming fun, climb aboard the seat, jump off the platform and off you go on the Zooming Zip Wire! Did you know pigs like to race? Step up to the rails choose your favourite pig, place your bets and watch the piggies sprint round the course - lets see if you are a weaner. New for 2014 is the Pesky Pigeons Tractor Trailer Ride 2 - the pigeons squirt back. Expect to get a bit wet on this ride! There is a delightful cafe which has been recognised by the Guild of Food Writers as a "special place to stop for a super snack." Skylark also offers retail therapy on site with its large Garden Centre. Skylark Maize Maze and Funyard is open daily from Sat 19 July to Thurs 4 September then weekends only until the end of September.

We had a season ticket last year and visited many times. Unfortunately this year we have only been once and won't be returning. Gone is the bouncy castle for younger children. This means they run the risk of being injured on tge older children's castle. Parents of the young chikdren worry and those of older chikden spend all the time... More

My husband and I called in to Skylark on our way to Ely to see what it was like with a view to maybe taking our grandchildren. We were absolutely disgusted to see that there is a charge if £8.50 for adults - why? this is an adventure park for children most of the adults we saw were sitting at... More

Fantastic day out! Fabulous value and so much to do. We went as two adults (?!?!) wanting a relaxing day out. What a laugh! With or without kids, it's a great day out if you enter into the spirit of the place. We started with the zip wire, had a go on the go karts, and as there were no... More

Took 4 children from 2 - 8 for a day out. On first reflection thought it was expensive but once there thought it was very good value for money. Once you pay everything is free (apart from food). The tractor ride with water pistols was great fun for everyone. There are two bouncy castles, go karts and sandpit. We could... More

A fantastic day for all the family...our children aged 12 and 9 had a great time from the go cart track to the inflatables. The Pesky Pigeon tractor ride was our favourite as on a hot day it was a great way to cool down. The maize maze was brilliant but you really do need to use the map...all in... More

We were busy from start to finish. Fine weather is a must though as the maze takes at least an hour to do properly, (a map is a must!) and there is very little under cover. Our girls aged 6 & 7 had plenty to keep them occupied and thank goodness for dads that can read maps or they would... More

Took our 2 granddaughters for the day. They had a really good time, especially on the zip wire and pedal go carts. The maize maze was very interesting, helping to find all the clues. Really disorientating in the maze, the map helps immensely. Enjoyed the pig racing, both granddaughters had a "winner" so they both have a medal. Snack prices... More

I took my two boys (aged 9 and 10) to Skylark in the hope that it may be a bit less busy / crowded / hectic than Milton. We were not disappointed. For most of the morning, the boys had the funyard pretty much to themselves. They loved the Soccer Goalie inflatable (a nice addition to the basic large inflatable... More

After scouring the internet for somewhere to break up a long journey from the East Norfolk coast to South Yorkshire for two young children, we plumped for Skylark and weren't disappointed. Started with lunch in the cafe - long wait to be served, no apology for the wait and no answer when I asked how long the food would be,... More
