There aren't many places left where you don't feel like you are being fleeced, especially places for children but this is a one off entrance and that's it for the day (unless you want refreshments). My children who are 7 and 9 and have been coming for a few years always love it here. The staff genuinely care for the... More

My granddaughter is only 13mths so too young for most of the attractions, which seem excellent for older children. Nevertheless we had fun watching the sheep race, the play houses and petting zoo, maybe there could be more than two swings for younger ones. Was disappointed after paying entrance fee to find the train was only running late in the afternoon,... More

Visited today with the Father's Day offer of Dad's getting in free. We even travelled 150 miles to surprise my Dad and it was worth it! The place has changed considerably from the limited PYO farm that I remember from when I grew up in nearby Rayleigh. But what an amazing change and development. To start off with I advise... More

Some friends told us about this place so we went taking our 3 year old son. We all enjoyed the day, especially the falconary show, the tractor ride and the sheep racing. The petting barn was lovely and our son could feed some of the animals, which he really enjoyed. Sadly it rained on our visit but we still had... More

Thank you very much for leaving your review. We’re really pleased you enjoyed your visit. As you mention the cafe in the playbarn is quite small and we’re sorry for any disappointment. La Bottega Village Caffe in the Craft Village is a great place to stop for lunch and we’re surprised you found it expensive as they have special children’s... More

So many fun things to do whether it's the huge indoor play area with exciting slides and games, the petting barn, where you can get up close and personal with the animals or just... More

This is my local farm and I frequently take my 3 year old son to it and have done over the past two years. The maintenance upkeep and cleanliness of the farm is great and I have never had an issue. The farm is a bit on the small side but there are still quite a few animals and they... More

We came to see the Lamb National on the early May bank holiday. It is a lot of fun with all the coats dyed with poodle dye. We saw them at 12:30 where they raced twice and then they were back at 4 pm. It was enjoyable but over in a flash. The farm itself isn't that big but is... More

We took my sisters family to barleylands over the holiday when they visited. It was a great day out. My niece and nephew are five and seven years old and there was plenty to keep them both happy and busy. There were plenty of animals to see, and a lot of chances to interact with the animals. The play areas... More
