We arrived at Barleylands in the rain but that didn't stop us having a great time on the farm! On arrival we were greeted by welcoming staff and after getting our animal feed we were of exploring. Our girls (5 years and 4 years) found some pedal tractors (they just fitted!) and they had so much fun racing down the... More

Barleylands has got something for everyone - young children with the small animal farm and also a large barn with indoor slides and fun for the kids in case it is wet. Or not as the case may be. All well laid out and looked after properly. And there's the craft shops catering to a variety of hobbies, crafts and... More

We took our 2 grandchildren aged 6 and 4 to Barleylands last Saturday. There is something for everyone here. The craft village is really informative and engages the children's curiosity. The farm is really well run and the staff are excellent and will spend time showing the children the animals and answering their questions. The play area is well organised... More

I visited Barleylands Farm and Craft Village with my grandchildren in the Easter Holidays and we all had a fantastic day. Loved the reptile house and the bird of prey display. The animals were also very interesting. The children's play areas were also thoroughly enjoyed by the youngsters. We arrived just after 10.30 and didn't leave until the end of... More

I took my 3year old to the farm on 9th April. Had a lovely day seeing and feeding the animals and seeing the new reptile house. Also playing on all the activities. So we did have a great day out, just a shame that someone has passed hand foot and mouth infection to my son so we cannot go out... More

Thank you for recommending us we really appreciate it. We are very sorry to hear your son has hand, foot and mouth and wish him a speedy recovery. Rest assured we clean thoroughly and this infection usually has a incubation period of 3-7 days so it’s likely it was picked up in the days before your visit to us. We... More

Its enjoyable here but it does cost quite a lot of money for a family of five. I've often thought about buying a family ticket that really is not worth it if you've got more than one child. The good thing is if it's a dry day you've got lots to do and even if its wet its still good... More

Thank you for visiting and leaving a review. Our family ticket is for 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children and it would out best for you to buy a family ticket and 1 child ticket. You can also save 10% by booking in advance online. We do wonder if you saw all our animals? At... More

We live locally and go to Barleylands fairly often. This is the first time we've been when it's been cold and wet. For family of two kids, it cost us £42 to get in, and we'd seen and done everything in under one hour. The outside play areas were too wet and muddy (to be expected), but the indoor play... More

We’re sorry you had this experience. We are not sure when you visited, as it was busy we think it was probably during the Easter holidays when we have more visitors. We’ve more indoors than ever before though with the opening of our sizeable Reptile House and we had lots of extra activities (reptile sessions, birds of prey shows, lamb... More
