Today we spent about 4 hours over at Barleylands..looked around the craft shops and made a sand gorilla. The mini train ride is pretty disappointing as you don't see much but for a quid what do u expect! The farm cost us £10 per Adult an free for under 2's..lots of goats and sheep.. Took a tractor ride, played in... More

There are a lot of outlets but only of interest if you are into Crafting. No shops where you could buy gift items. There was a card shop on the first floor but a lot of the units were closed. Had a coffee at one of the two restaurants which was very comfortable with indoor and outdoor seating. There was... More

The animals are well kept and cared for including all the farm characters you'd expect. The red squirrels are a delight and the alpacas quite pretty but otherwise this is a fairly average farm park. My kids were amused for much longer by the great play equipment; inflatable pillow, slides, ride on vehicles and the foam ball shooting gallery. The... More

A visit for grandson to have a Bird of Prey experience, which was 'awesome'. So thank you to all concerned, especially Nigel. We hear the lunch was delicious! The farm was good, the lamb races were great fun, and the shooting barn a great success, and was returned to several times during the day. You couldn't help but get involved!... More

Have walked by the entrance on way to the craft village and taken no notice. Hidden behind the entrance is a great playground with a farm theme. The slides in the soft play are ' awesome' so I am told , in another barn are guns shooting soft balls, where the kids seem to organise themselves into shooters and collectors,... More

We went to Barleylands as a group to The Pottery Barn for my nieces 2nd birthday. We all had a great time painting up some items and the staff were helpful but not intrusive. The train ride was enjoyed by the children, it's very short but only costs £1 so can't expect too much. Best suited to children only as... More

Thank you for your review and for coming to visit. We’re really glad you had a nice time. We are a bit surprised you feel it was expensive and believe you may have missed quite a few of the things to see and do in the Farm Park (as you say you didn’t have much time). We have lots of... More

I was a bit shocked about the family ticket price of £34 but, if I had booked online I could have saved quite a bit of money. My grandchildren loved it, very family friendly, the young staff are brilliant. It always make me think at buying food to feed the animals at a £1 a bag, we pay enough to... More
