Lovely atmosphere, plenty of space for little ones to roam. Was brilliant that we could take our own food to eat while the kids play but I beleive that has changed and that's putting off another visit

Thank you for leaving a review. The Cafe in the indoor play barn is much improved and it is only fair that there is some seating for people wishing to purchase food. Please don't let this put you off from visiting us again though. We have increased our indoor picnic area in Chirpy Chicks Play Area so you can bring... More

The craft village was very nice where you can see all sorts of skills and wonderful shops. However the farm was awful, I thought for £10 each there should have been more on offer. The milk able cow was empty and half the farm was closed. The cafe was terrible

I won a family ticket so was very pleased to go there but it was smaller than I had envisioned and we were away and finished much quicker than I had thought we would be. my granddaughter loved the animals but we had to wait a couple of hours for pigs to be cleaned out before we could see the... Thank you for leaving a review. We’re glad to hear you were pleased to win a ticket to come and visit us. We have lots to do on the farm so we’re surprise it was not quite as you’d imagined. We came here on Valentine's day with our daughter and was expecting to spend the majority of the day there but was done within two hours and that includes the farmers market and the craft village. It is a nice place and we enjoyed the farmers market where we got nice coffee beans and found a good sausage supplier. The... More

Thank you for visiting us and leaving your review. We’re surprised you didn’t spend longer in the Farm Park as the majority of our visitors spend at least a couple of hours with us. Unique place to visit - lots of small units offering hand crafted goods - jewellery, glass blowing, ornaments etc, plus toy shops, fancy dress, art shop, etc etc. Very nice restaurant plus a coffee shop. They have a farmers market twice a month on a Saturday - there are some really good stall holders although unfortunately it's quite a small... More

Having already visited an amazing farm park in Cumbria, we were really looking forward to our trip to Barleylands but were met with disinterested staff and completely disengaged child-minders. The craft village was nice but not enough of a reason to visit. Unless you're very local and have run out of all other ideas, I'd probably give it miss.

We’re sorry you were disappointed when you visited. Our staff are usually enthusiastic and helpful and we are sorry this was not your experience. We know how important this is to our visitors and we do take feedback seriously. When visitors arrive they are given a map and a timetable of activities that day. We don’t know when you visited... Have to say I have seen Barleylands grow over the years. It used to be just a little village farm shop and now it is this huge place full of interesting things to do for people of all ages. Definitely worth a visit although I would try and do this during the week rather than at the weekends .
