We have been to Blue Mountain and stayed at Weider Lodge for the last 5 years. The one bedroom suites are great for our family of four. We get a comfy king size bed and the two teenagers share the pull out couch with their own tv. Full kitchens make the holiday more affordable because breakfast and lunch can be... More

Have been going here for years with other families and never disappointed. Kids love ropes course, zip lining, apex jump, hotel pool and mountain coaster. Restaurants are fairly reasonable and many offer half price kids meals bf 6pm. Also check out the scenic caves and suspension bridge nearby. We've stayed at Stonebridge, Weider and Mosaic and never been disappointed. Prices... More

Stopped here after a day at Thornbury on way home from elsewhere. The zip-line and coaster rides are great fun, and there are loads of eateries and stores to browse. Not bad for a summer's day, but way too far to go if you live in Toronto. Tie it in with Collingwood or Wasaga Beach, and you have yourself an... More

Very pretty but manmade resort area. It is set up for year round use, and being able to use the ski-lifts for a ride to the top of Blue Mountain is lovely, and great fun watching the mountain bikers hurtling down the slopes. A bit pricey, but that is only to be expected in a resort setting. There a lots... More

Downhill Mountain biking experience at BM is great, but the $41 fee to ride up and 'ride down' should be enough, but instead, they hit you with a $10 card fee per person and make you rent $40 worth of gear for kids under 18. They say it's a 'liability thing'. I say cash grab. If my kid crashes the... More

The Segway mountain-top tour was a real delight. The group size was 13, and was split in two, each with its own trainer/guide. Both guides were pleasant, but we definitely lucked out with Richard. He wrote down our names and the entire group was very quickly engaging with each other on a first name basis, following Richard's lead. A brief... More

There's lots to do in the village. Unfortunately the weather has been rainy and cold. Odd for August. We hiked the mountain anyway along the village trail. Careful cuz it's slippery. Wear proper hikers, not runners. View from the top was very pretty. We took the gondola down. So great.
