At $25 an adult and $21 a child this "attraction" is a bit pricey. The caves are merely cracks in the rock and it's quite difficult to navigate with a young child. Yes they have have some children's attractions such as a train and a playground but that does not make up for the price at all. The suspension bridge... More

We were very disappointed with our trip to Scenic Caves in Collingwood. The cost for myself and two children to explore the caves and bridge was over $65.00. The timing said it would take two hours however we were done the caves within 40 minutes. The rocks were slippery, so it's not like we went that fast. Also had to... More

Thank you for your comments. Your suggestion of shifting staff responsibilities during busy hours will be reviewed, as will your displeasure with the entrance fee. We apologize for the long waits you experienced at the main gate and also at various points in the caves. During the summer, the trails can get busy during the mid-day period. Some guests take... Loved the historic tour of the Petun First Nations ancestral home and the natural wonders that the Niagara Escarpment has to offer. The adventure aspects were also amazing with various zip lines, playgrounds and suspension bridge.

My 13 year old and I decided to go zip lining for the first time. We could not have picked a better place for this experience. When we got there and saw the amount of younger childeren we were a little put off, but decided we would stay. The attendant told us to explore all the caves and rock formations... More

Thank you for your enthusiastic endorsement of the Thunderbird Twin Zip Line. Wow is a word we hear repeatedly to describe the half-mile flight from the top of the Niagara Escarpment to the valley below. Many visitors use ‘Go-Pro’ cameras to record their experiences. Because both hands grasp a handlebar, it’s best to use a hands-free device. The property is... More

My husband and I did the self-guided caves and caverns/suspension bridge tour for 25 dollars a hat and had a wonderful time. The views are neat, the little bits of history/explanations along the various caves was great as we learned people used to live here and used some places as council meetings, fridges etc. I did thought that $50 for... Thanks for sharing your wonderful time exploring Scenic Caves. We’re pleased that you were satisfied with the overall value of your experience. The history and folklore of the First Nation’s Petun tribe is fascinating. Suicide Point, Ekarenniondi and the Indian Council Chamber are just a few of guests’ favourites. Signage on the highways leading into the region is dictated by... More

My family and I went to Scenic Caves on July 2014. It was raining the day before, so it was a little bit slippery on the rocks. And it was chilly in the middle of July, good thing they sell sweatshirt at gift shop. There were many steep areas but there were rails to hold on to. While hiking, you... More

We’re so glad your family loved all the adventures and the “awesome views” at Scenic Caves. Because the property is entirely outdoors, it is subject to all weather conditions. It’s important to dress in layers according to the weather and wear sturdy footwear with good treads. There are stairs as well as handrails in the more challenging inclines of the... More

You know how supermarkets put the milk in the back of the store? This is what you can expect if you are there to get on the zip lines. It is located well in the back and you are required to pay twice, it was an eye-watering $200 for a family of 4. I knew it would be expensive and... More

Thank you for your comments. The package pricing is assessed yearly and we will certainly review your remarks. As you observed, the Thunderbird Twin Zip Line is located deep in the park at the highest point of the Escarpment, which is why it is not sold as a separate activity. We hope you took the time to explore deep in... More

My husband and I ...both Seniors.....visited the caves for our 40th Anniversary. Great memories of the days when we took our children there! There was a lot of steep steps and climbing for us, but we proudly made it through. The tour of the caves is very well marked and fun for all ages.

Thank you for returning to Scenic Caves to celebrate your anniversary. Felicitations! And hats off to you both for hiking the trails, just as you did in the good ol’ days with your family. There are handrails in steep parts of the caves/caverns to assist guests. We are delighted that you revisited us to rekindle fond memories. More

My kids (ages 12 and 10) and I did the Eco Adventure Tour and Thunderbird Zip Line. We've zip lined in Hawaii and Mexico and did TreeTop Trekking at Horseshoe last year. This tour and zipline was just as fun as our previous trips. Our guides, Michael and Tiffany, were great and had some great stories about the origins of... More

Thank you for your joyful review of your family’s Scenic Caves adventures. We’re thrilled to hear that our Eco tour and ziplines rivalled your international experiences. Even if you are a wee bit tentative about the treetop canopy walk, the safety measures are comforting. Participants practice clipping on/off during ‘ground school’ training to calm any nervousness. Harness, helmets and safety... More

Our eco tour included the caves and zip lining experience. Scenery was just beautiful and a great way to exercise our travel weary bodies. You will do some serious hiking here, climbing over boulders and big rocks, going UP hill all the way, and then hiking down to the bottom of the cave, before climbing up again. It is not... More
