This ski resort has the widest variety of terrain in Ontario. With three separate areas, it covers all skill levels. Even their long green (Happy Valley) was adequate to keep the beginners in our group going for the entire day. Due to the lack of vertical on the mountain, the way they have designed the area (flat, then big drop)... More

An avid skier for 36 years, this is my first year skiing at Blue Mountain regularly. By far the best (and biggest) skiing accessible from the Greater Toronto Area in about 2 hours. (Check their website for mountain stats on vertical, etc). What I need to tell you about is the lesson programs. As I said, I've been an avid... More

Very experienced skier stay away !! But if you are a beginner or intermediate skier I believe it is the best and please read on. Unlike other ski resort mountain that promotes miles of unless non stop downhill skiing, they don't have it here. Saying that they are not promoting it. What it has are excellent runs for beginners and... More

We went with a group of people mid-week. The slopes were groomed well, and we did not experience the long lift lines that people who ski the weekend complain of. Runs were long, and well-groomed and the view over the Georgian Bay is breathtaking!. Overall, it would be a good place to ski, except we observed a lot of dangerously... More

Sunshine all day created a little ice, but good skiing. Great place to come for weekend skiing. Good night ski as well

Skied here in mid-January. We got lucky with fresh snow falling everyday. There is a good choice of different runs, but like all Ontario hills, we spent 50% to 60% more time on the lifts than we did actually skiing. A good warm-up for a trip out west in a couple of weeks!

Blue mountain is pretty much the best hill for skiing in southern Ontario. With that said, it may not be for everyone. It tends to get crazy busy on weekends and around the holidays and you can spend a lot of time standing in line. They have 5 high-speed, 6-person chairs though so when the lines are reasonable they move... More

Blue Mountain is our home base for skiing and snowboarding. Very good overall conditions. The blacks tend to be a little icy in spots but if your on them your ability should get you down them. The intermediate runs are the strong point here. Always in good shape even when weather is so-so. Accommodation is very good. We stay in... More

I've been to Blue several times. The skiing isn't the greatest, but the village is amazing! Depending on where you're used to skiing, I found it a bit boring. I like to get lost in ski resorts and find my way back several times throughout the day. Can't do that here, as everything is on 1 face of the escarpment.... More

We recently did two days of skiing at Blue Mountain - on both days I rented equipment for myself and my kids. The staff on the slopes and the lifts were fantastic but the staff inside the rental area were rude and unpleasant. I had the misfortune of having to deal with Ashley on both days and she couldn't have... More
