Visited for a few days in August. I suppose I am not a fan or resorts. That said, much preferred Deerhurst resort, which I visited afterwards. The village centre is artificial and other than hiking and using the beach, everything else raids your wallet, even when staying on site. I suspect they're all paying big rents as everything seems marked... More

Went for a family vacation this past February. I've been to whistler in the summer and blue mountain is a mini version of it. (Hills are good for beginners with some longer runs for more experienced skiers). I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to see if this is the vacation for you before travelling too far. Prices were... More

This mini-golf course is in the blue mountain resort village (at the base of the mountain near the ticket centre). The course is 18 holes and is quite challenging and fun, but because of the amount of users who do not follow the 6-putt rule, can be quite a slow go, and requires a lot of standing around waiting for... Title says it all, really ... but apparently that's too short a statement to meet the minimum length criterion for a review ... it's long enough now.

This the second time we visited Blue Mountain village and enjoyed it even better the second time around as we knew what we wanted to do. There is plenty of activities for young and old and the trip to the top of the mountain by cable car or walking is well worth the visit. If you are into mountain biking,... More

Georgian Bay British Car Club invaded Blue Mountains on the weekend, great time and we were the centre of attraction. Food was great and coffee from Starbucks, was delicious. There must have had 2 Thousand visitors for the cars alone.

I do live in the area, so I use the 5x7 pass in ski season.(no weekends) and that is perfect for me.One can not compare it to skiing in Whistler or like we know in Europe, but we enjoy it very much. They organize a lot, in winter and summer-relaxed and casual. My kids are taking lessons, all reasonable priced - and they... Good ski hills for beginners like me. Love the village. I go for the village more than the skiing. Always something happening. Have seen some great bands here also.
