Busy Ontario ski hill - it's not a mountain! Good range of hills for us (beginner-intermediate skiers). If you can stay a weekend with friends it makes a good trip.

Having come from out west - i tend to be a little more judgemental on the ontario and quebec ski hills. Blue has put alot of effort into making the hill better. Main base is still pretty crowded - but there are several bases, and lots of space to spread people across the hill.

This resort has a wide range of trails but all are fairly quick. Have fun in the glades and enjoy the quick lift service during the week.

Skied @ Blue on Feb 10, stellar blue sky day with no wind and pretty moderate crowds (no liftlines). Snow was excellent (except for that ice rink at tthe top of what was known as Mogul Alley). I am bad with names of runs. Overall very good, Decent variety of terrain , they even seem to be growing some bumps... More

Great weekend family resort, with a short drive from the City. Plenty of activites for the family, even if you are not a skier/boarder. Enjoyed the pond skating, horse and buggy rides, Plunge water Park and dinning at Tholos Restaurant.

By Ontario standards this is a very good ski resort experience. There's plenty of snow thanks to nature and snowmaking equipment. There are plenty of runs and lifts. The terrain underneath is not too rugged, providing a consistent piste on top. The village is great. However, the apres skiing (nightlife) is subpar from what it should be, either in the... More

This was my first trip to Blue Mountain with my family and everyone enjoyed it. Especially the 10cm of powder we got and a very empty hill (as we were there on a weekday). Lots of blue runs that were perfect for majority of our family. However, not too many decent long beginner runs for my daughter. Anyways, we found... More

to ski if you're not looking to drive long hours or do the airport thing if you want a day or two on snow. I quite enjoyed this resort, they've done a hell of a job with the hill since I was last here over a decade ago. Dislikes, dense lift lines on weekends.

My wife & I visited in late January, responding to a weather forecast calling for powder snow. It snowed during the day and the runs were a delight. I'm sure its been tough being an Ontario ski resort operator this year, as there has been little natural snow. Despite this, ALL the hills were well covered. All lifts were open... More
