Lovely beach

Great beach with excellent surf. Estuary where river joins is worth exploring too. Overlooked by beach restaurant which serves good food, and from where the sunset is beautiful.

Lovely beach and stunning views across to river to Espartal cliffs. It is a little way from the usual tourist beaches of the Algarve but Aljezur is a nice town and the beach is in a beautiful location with a good beach restaurant. Surfing and bodyboarding is good on this beach with rock pools on one side for exploring too.

I was staying in Amorosa and decided to visit this area. It's just so peaceful and beautiful with the added bonus of a lovely beach for sun worshippers and of course waves for surfers. Small restaurant " Paraiso do Mar" overlooking the sea where we ate a lunch of sardines.

Fantastic beach, Very easy to park your car. It's a very long beach so there is a lot of space for every one even for surf schools with hundreds of students, Very nice view and very nice water and sand,

Great for kids and also for surfers. Excellent paradise for photographers, especially early in the morning. The nearest parking lot is small, but there's one bigger if you don't mind to walk about 500, 600m.

Beautifull location. It has a unique feature, because a river meets the ocean there, creating a warm water for bathing. Great for kids!!

We were a group of 6 including 2 children aged 11 and 14 and having visited Arrifana, Monte Clerigo and Amoreira beaches we settled on this as our favourite and spent some great days here! The waves were amazing and as the sea bed was completely sand we didn't have to worry about rocks whilst enjoying them. Alternatively there was... More
