"Hottarakashi onsen "is a nice hot spring. It takes 15 minutes from Yamanashi-shi station by car. You can see the beautiful view of Mt.Fuji and Kofe basin taking a bath because it is located in near the top of the mountain. The night view is better!! From here follow the road uphill, past the go kart circuit; it is a 30min walk uphill to Hottarakashi. You will be rewarded with a delightful onsen in rustic surroundings and... More

Imagine Mt Fuji appearing in front of you as the sun rises, while immersed in a therapeutic hot spring at dawn. We stayed at the Chisun Inn Kofu Isawa and left a little after 5:30 am. Only a 10-15 minutes drive up the mountain,... More
