We visted Tojinbo as we drove from Kanazawa to Nagoya. It is in fact just one hour away from Kanazawa by car and is worth a stop if you are in the area. Gorgeous views out to the Japan Sea. Just a short drive/walk up the coast to ooshima, a small island linked to the mainland by a beautiful red bridge. This is visable from Tojinbo. There is a wide variety of foods to buy in the shops by Tojimbo, as well as trying the squid ink, sesame, or sea salt ice cream.... More

The rugged cliff sides and the raging seas create a interesting rock formation. I saw only one restroom so plan accordingly. More
