The Waterfalls are quite nice and access is protected to avoid degradation of flora. You have a big natural pool in front of the falls and the water is really cool. You can observe some monkeys, monitor lizards and butterflies. You have some toilet facilities. You have BBQ facilities & tables. You need to bring your Picnic. The South National... More

Just a 15minute van ride from Crystal Paradise resort. Seems to be popular with local families and kids. Nice and refreshing to swim around in the clear water and watch the monkeys swinging around in the treetops. Not much else to do but good for lunch and half a day.

went up to the second fall..... no safety net on this climb. think twice before you embark on it. It is well worth it, but the risk is insane.

The majestic Estrella Falls. >.< The water was cold but not too cold. :) I so enjoyed swimming here! So guys, if you're in Puerto Princesa, be sure to drop by Estrella Falls! The trip took about 3 hours, I think. It's farther than Underground River. Aside from that, the road was rough. We had a bumpy ride. You can... More

It's a long drive from anywhere, it's quite small and the surroundings are not particularly nice. I've come across more spectacular waterfalls by accident. High Force in County Durham is better. But not as warm!

We were looking for a nice day trip out of Puerto Princesa and came across Estrella Falls. It was a bit of an undertaking from PP since we didn't have a car or motorbike but in the end, worth the trip. We took the bus from San Jose Bus Terminal to Narra. It was about 90 minutes and just as... More

the road to estrella falls is a bit bumpy from the main road of narra, palawan. we had our own vehicle, so I'm not sure how anyone would get there except rent a ride. from the main road is about 30 minutes of a slightly rough road. just follow the signs. when we got there, there's an entrance fee, very... Estrella falls are 12-14 km from centre of Narra, you will need a car or tricycle journey (he will wait for you) from Narra . From the national highway you take a rough track towards the mountains for 5km. There is a very small entrance fee, typical for Philippines. There are a few small shops and a cafe where you... More
