A totally lifeless beach with no activity but this is attributed to it being a nesting site for the endangered Olive Ridley Sea Turtles. It is a very quite place and you may go with family if that's what you prefer. It's best avoided when we went, thought the only good thing was the drive to the beach.

I have been to many beaches in Goa and Morjem was my best discovery. It is not at all crowded - viz the best part. We were the only Indians at this beach!! There are a lot of good resorts on the beach as well as small shacks with beach beds. We picked one of these shacks and spent the... More

This is the best, safe, clean place to bathe/play in the Beach in Goa. For more than 300 to 500 meters, the water level stays at your lower hip level (for an average adult) with clean sand at the bottom. Best place to play in the water for hours. Reach there around 4 PM and it is the best time... More

Went to Morjim by chance, and loved the beach. It's peaceful (read that as not crowded) and we (wife and I) spent almost an entire day there reading a book and taking a dip when we wanted. Must visit if you think Baga beach is too commercial for your taste :)

Great Area, with some fantastic beaches. Try staying here over the other areas like panaji etc. Ashewm or Mandrem beaches are well worth it.
