Trekking out of season is always risky, but due to work commitments, we had little choice. We went on a three day/two night trek with Jamal, Hassan and "the donkey" in late December and encountered howling winds and rain! However!!..... this was short lived and only really presented problems during the night. Jamal could be held responsible for many things,... more

We were a group of 5 Norwegian women, and we had chosen the ”One day hike to berber villages”. The hike was very well organized, and we were brought to and from Amizmiz by taxi. Jamal had booked the taxi for us, and the taxi driver, Abdoussamad, was a very nice man, full of humor, and talked about every subject... more

Did the one day trek up the moutains stopping off for lunch with the barber family. Brilliant experience that both myself and my girlfriend really enjoyed. The guide was great, and the berber family were so friendly. Really did allow you to experience their culture and way of life, if only for a short period of time. Can't wait to... more

My husband & I did the 2 day hike & overnight Berber village trip at the end of September. We included the taxi transfers from Marrakech & this makes everything simple. Was probably fairly expensive as prices go in Morocco but then absolutely everything is included & we ended up feeling as though we saw & experienced a unique peak into the... more

Me and my two comrades did a one day tour with Berber Travel Adventures (Amizmiz market tour, day trek, overnight, and return trek). Jamal, our tour organizer made sure that all our arrangements were made including a driver for pick-up and return to our Riad in Marrakech (extra cost). We had an excellent guide/translator for our trip named Sayid. The... more

Jamal is very honest, knowledgable of Berber culture, and proves to be a great guide who is willing to answer all your questions before and during the trek. Snack, full meal, and water is included in his prices. He arranges for private taxi to pick you up at your hotel, taxi driver is paid separately for a small fee. Hike... more

We all met Jamal (fluent English speaking) in Amizmiz after an hour and half's drive with Abdasamed, who collected us from our hotel in Marrakech. The heat was intense, 50C, however it was mid August so we did half expect it! Jamal showed us all around the entire market, which was a large very active trading market, with Berber tribesmen... more

Have just retunred from Marrakech, where the highlight of our holiday was the hike into the Atlas Mountains with Berber Travel Adventures. We could not have asked for a more knowledgable, kind and friendly guide than Jamal. The trek was just the right length for a day out, and the Atlas Mountains are beautiful, and so diverse. We were amazed... more
