Usually, an attraction's brochure looks amazing and when you get there its disappointing... with The Hidden Valley, the reverse is true - all the adverts and leaflets we saw for it looked very average but it was enough to pique our interest enough to visit, and I'm so pleased we did as it is the day out I've enjoyed the... Great day out for all the family, from climbing through hidden doorways to finding the middle of the beech hedge maze the fun keeps you going. You first come into the café/shop area, although both small. If you are planning on eating here either arrive before lunch time or bring a packed lunch. The menu is quite varied from scones... More

Me and my boyfriend went here while on holiday, and we both agreed it was so much fun and so exciting, it made us feel like big kids, they done an amazing job with the clues, the buildings and maintenance. We spent hours there and wasn't bored for a second. Would highly reccomend goingit is fun for any age group... More

The whole idea is very worthy.... Engaging children to investigate and being adventurous. It felt a tad amateurish at times but you can see that it is a work in progress. Mind you: if you are like me and do not appreciate trails and walking in mud you will not like it. I saw a family having difficulties with moving... More

It was our first visit today (2 adults, 2 eight year olds and two seven year olds) and we were thoroughly impressed! Reasonable entry price, good facilities and a great concept - having arrived at 11.30, the boys were kept busy with the Sherlock Trail, the Indiana trail, the Vault and the Maze. Lots of great teamwork, puzzle solving and... More

I live locally to HiddenValley and decided it was about time to visit! Having read the reviews I was unsure what to expect as I had read 'rustic, muddy etc'! In fact, in my opinion I found it to be modern and immaculately presented in beautiful grounds. We spent 4 hours here and were kept busy the whole time. I... More

Very clean and tidy, felt that the site as a whole was slightly off the mark and although it had some great ideas it lacked in the execution of them. The site has no real theme to it, leaving it with giving you a bitty experience, the Mansion is a very cool idea, but was a little basic and needed... More

A great family day out and a good brain workout too. This is my families third visit to this attraction and I was a little apprehensive after the expansion work done. Need not have worried Hidden Valley has improved but managed to keep its simple formula essence. The new mansion is lots of fun, but quite glad that I personally... More

It's a good idea - a theme park that isn't about white knuckle adrenaline rides, but is about mental stimulation, mystery, and puzzle solving. Getting there is down a long single track road with no passing points, which fortunately had no cars coming the other way. The tiny car park was then full, and so people were parking on the... More

This was recommended to us by a friend. After looking at the website we had a very excited 10yrs old looking forward to a day being Indiana jones. Sadly the reality was far less exciting. The Indiana trail on the website described it as follows; become a real Indiana jones and follow a ROPE trail through trees and beyond. In... More
