How can you beat zip lining over 400 feet off the ground over a 250 foot waterfall? I DO NOT like heights, but the gradual increase in both length and height of this zip line tour was great for me. It helped me get comfortable with the equipment and the process. Our guides were fabulous. They knew how to keep... More

Never been zip-lining before so I wondered whether the heights or the speeds would bother me. Not at all. I wasn't even aware of the heights because the views were so gorgeous. I spent the money to rent a GoPro camera and think the videos will be an excellent memory. Guides were very good, especially Kekoa and Dustin.

This tour is fantastic. The adrenaline builds as you go from station to station. The guides are fantastic and very entertaining. The views are out of this world. Start out low and end up very high. When you are finished with the last zip line you just want to do it all over again.

Enjoyed this last trip but they are out of business. Unknown if or when they might reopen. Several other ziplines available.

The BIEA2 is located in the northern part of the Big Island, driving there was an adventure of its own, as we got to enjoy the sites of the town of Hawi. There were signs directing towards the location (though be warned the small road leading off the main road towards the tour main housing is a bit rough) and... More

If you are looking for an adventure on the Big Island, BIEA is the place to go! I have had some friends go to zipline at place with one or two lame runs. This is not the case at BIEA; they have eight ziplines of different heights, lengths, and speeds, and a fun suspension bridge. The views are amazing--waterfalls, canopy... More

Professional. Friendly. Entertaining. Educational. Positive.Just some of the ways I would describe the staff at BIEA in Kapaau. I am an experienced zipliner and let me tell you, these guys are top shelf. The front office handled details and made reservations and access simple and easy. Our guides, Ashley and Curtis, set the tone right away by interacting and connecting... More

This was truly one of the most enjoyable excursions my family experienced for the 14 days we were in Hawaii. We went to Kaui and Hawaii and the folks at BIEA were the absolute best. It began with the minute we walked in the door and were greeted with Aloha and our names. We did all the necessary paperwork and... More

It was a great experience, from the start booking with Courtney was a an easy experience, even when we had to switch our start time. She made every effort to accommodate us. Curtis and Ashly were excellent guides, they were funny, and made every effort to connect with each member of our group. They took time to educate us about... More

What a great time! 8 ziplines with more in the works. Many of the lines were over 1000' in length! A 60' suspension bridge over a gorge with waterfalls added to the excitement. A light lunch in an amazing tree house was very cool! What made our excursion so much fun were are guides...Curtis and Makani! These two were a... More
