The guide provided lots of good information about the ecosystem of El Yunque as we traversed the narrow but well-paved trail on the way to the waterfall. The pace, though, was far too slow on the way out, and way too fast on the way back. The walk to the waterfall consisted of mostly standing around and listening to the... More

A few of the skating cast from the Explorer of the Seas went on this shore excursion and it was really cool! We loved swimming in the river and walking through the beautiful rainforest! Our guide was enthusiastic and really knew his stuff - thank you guys!

My husband and I really enjoyed this trip. Our guide is super friendly and was incredibly knowledgeable about the rainforest, and also very happy to talk about Puerto Rican life. He showed us all sorts of plants and we even found red spiders, freshwater shrimp, and some frog eggs. Timing: our cruise was about an hour late disembarking, and because... More

This was a wonderful experience. Went in May 2014. Wish he weather was warmer at the time. But overall, it was fantastically fun and a learning adventure about the trees and the creatures that roam the forest. It was not dangerous but a little treacherous because it had sprinkled and was slippery in spots. I would go again a heartbeat!... More

We did a rainforest tour with Destination Puerto Rico, operated by Travel Services, inc, recommended by our concierge Jay at the Marriott Stellaris; we were delighted. I'm embarrassed that I don't remember my tour guide's name, because he was fantastic! We did seven tours in seven days and I am just having a senior moment. Anyway, take the waterfall tour... More

We took a trip to the rainforest and waterfall through Royal Caribbean. The hike was beautiful and not too difficult. Our tour guide was knowledgeable about the plant and animal like in the forest. Definitely a must do in Puerto Rico.

We scheduled our Rainforest Nature Walk as a Port Adventure while cruising on the Disney Fantasy. We weren't even scheduled to port in San Juan but it was raining in St. Thomas and since Disney won't let it rain on your vacation they re-routed us. We are so thankful they did!!! Mike, Mike and Mike our awesome tour guides for... More
