My wife, daughter and I went on the nature walk on July 8, through an excursion booked on our Royal Caribbean cruise. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of interesting information about the rain forest. The hike has a few steep paths, but in the morning the temperature was not very hot. My only suggestion would... More

Try to go when it's a more pleasant month weather wise and not a holiday. It was crazy packed with people and very difficult to park. If you don't mind either you'll enjoy the walks on the paths. If you are not in good shape then it will be a little work. Take your bottled waters but pack light. We... More

This is a U.S. Park Service run park. The rangers and staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. The park is very large with many things to enjoy. The walk to the waterfall is probably three miles round trip--one path called "short" and the other longer. Both are very steep, narrow paths down that can tax the knees and other joints,... More

Make sure you wear comfortable shoes, bring something for potential rain showers(umbrella, poncho, etc). Stop and read the points of interest signs as they are very informative. Bring a bottle of water to drink. The falls are nice but seem to collect crowds. Very slippery in places so may not be suitable for the less nimble.

We took this tour in April 2014 and we loved it! Our tour guide was enthusiastic and knowledgable. He explored it with us and pointed out his finds and encouraged us to do the same. Our 7 year old thou title was cool!

The trip to the rain forest was wonderful. Due to the road being washed out we did not get to go to the waterfall. That was a disappoint but Mother Nature has the final say. Our guide was knowledgeable and a true nature enthusiast. We enjoyed the trip from start to finish.

Our family really enjoyed the experience to visit a rainforest. Our guide was very experienced and gave us interesting information and facts about the rainforest as well as Puerto Rico in general. We took lots of pictures. Unfortunately, we were not able to visit the waterfall due to weather conditions, but the river was still beautiful. I would recommend this... More

This was a great experiance. Our group was the first to take the walk out in the dark. And it actually rained. The tour guide was the best.
