I visited in July 2011 because it was a stop on our tour. It met my expectations; nothing more, nothing less. The rum was good enough that we bought a bottle to take home but the cake was about average.

I was surprised to learn these rum cakes originated on this island. It was a nice stop on an island tour. On the outside of the building there are some stairs up to two large windows to view the factory... dont miss them. They has rum and cake samples available and it was delicious. Prices were good and a few... More

Not sure what or where the factory was because all we saw was one large building that was a store inside. It is a busiest tourist stop so expect crowds. Some trinkets for sale but mostly rums and rum cake. Samples of the rum cake and pineapple rum were delicious. Note: these rum cakes are for sale EVERYWHERE. Your cruise... More

We had a short stop here on a tour. I thought it would be a waste of time but really enjoyed it. The samples of rum cake were delicious, as were the samples of rum! We ended up buying some mango rum to take home. Wish we'd bought more!

If you have never tried Rum Cake, I guess this would be the best place. I don't know which flavor to recommend even though I tried at least 3.

We stopped at the Rum Cake Factory on our tour and got a great deal. We purchase the big Original Rum cake and got the small one free. We love the cake. If you ever visit GRan Cayman don't forget to pick-up a few boxes of Rum Cake.. Delicious!!!

This was also WAY TOO RUSHED. We didn't have time to sample any of the cakes. I would have loved to have purchased something but there just wasn't enough time. You can't go to three places in one tour and only have 10 minutes at each place. The whole tour wasn't worth the money.
