The samples are nice, but you can get better prices at the Tortuga retail shops all over the island, and really good deals at the airport duty free shop. You also can't take any rum you buy with you, it's delivered to the cruise ship or airport. They do have a really good selection of different flavors and sizes though.... More

Nice to see and experience where the rum cakes and everything else 'rum' is made. The products are reasonable and with so many flavors, it makes it fun to mix up your selections for yourself or to share with family and friends back home.

The trip over was great. We landed on Alcatraz Island, but could kayak or paddle board (for extra fee) over to Tortuga Island. White sands, palm trees, clear water...how can you go wrong? The hosts were great, very friendly. On the catamaran, we saw a whale and dolphins in the ocean. Food and drinks were what you would expect for... More

It's a tradition to always being this cake home for family & friends. Everyone loves these cakes. We stopped here as part of a tour, not booked with the cruise ship. It was packed, however, with other cruise ship guests. But we got our cakes, and in the end that was what mattered.

Actually, they have both kid and adult versions of the rum cake - one with rum flavoring and one with rum. They're okay, but we didn't send any home. This was my first experience with a Beef Patty, which is like a folded pot pie topping filled with a seasoned meat-like substance. Enjoyed every bite each time I tasted it... More

It was fine, the rum cake was good enough, the rum my husband tasted was good. It was very crowed in the gift shop, the cake "boss" was grouchy and honestly just made you want to leave which was fine we headed out back and look at the beautiful water and found shells until it was time to move on!

Mandatory stop on many package tours the best thing is walking straight through the crowded girf shop and taking photos of the beautiful Cayman waters.

The rum cake is good, we didn't try the rum itself. We stopped in for about 20 minutes and sampled several flavors of cake, settling on the "classic' flavor, whatever that is.

I had the pleasure of taking a Cayman Island Tour from the Morritts Resort. We stopped at the Tortuga Rum Factory. Lots to see and enjoy. Being my first trip there I was not sure on procedures for purchasing duty free items or even the various rum flavors for that matter. As I was asking one of the security people... More

After our visit to the Turtle Farm, we drove a short distance down the road to the Tortuga Rum factory. We enjoyed sampling the various flavors of rum and rum cake. It was quite crowded in the shop, but the employees were very friendly. No need to stay long, but not a bad stop if you are already in the... More
