We hadn't ever been to a rum factory so it was a new experience for us! You get to see an up close look at how things are made and can purchase directly from them as opposed to the cruise line!

I was expecting a rum distillery tour and a bakery tour, and this fell so far short of every expectation. If you want to stand in a crowded tourist shop waiting for pre-packaged cakes you can get at any other place on the island, this is your attraction.

went here as part of a carnival tour. By the time we got there there was no rum cake to sample however they did have various rums to try. The mango rum was very tasty. They also had wifi here so that was a bonus for travellers. They had other things, nick knacks to buy in the store but it... More

A look behind the scenes of the bakery where all of these wonderful rum cakes are created... They said as many as 5000 cakes a day! Yum Yum!

The samples of rum (I tried the vanilla and the pineapple) and the rum cakes (banana - awesome, key lime - not so much LOL) were soooo good. I waited to buy at the airport though and got the 5 bottle set of rum (different flavors). I also brought home a plain rum cake and a banana. I love the... More

This was a stop on the tour we took. The cake is fine and the prices are reasonable.... we saw the cakes for sale at many places and it always seemed to be the same price. The mango rum they make is amazing worth a sample. Disappointing that they have wild life caged on site

The samples are nice, but you can get better prices at the Tortuga retail shops all over the island, and really good deals at the airport duty free shop. You also can't take any rum you buy with you, it's delivered to the cruise ship or airport. They do have a really good selection of different flavors and sizes though.... More
