We really enjoyed the dive site at Turtle Reef. Easy entry. Plenty of space to get your gear on/off. We rented tanks and weights. They were efficient and helpful in telling us about the dive site. They also rent lights for night dives.

Turtle Reef aka Macabuca Reef is one of Grand Cayman's best shore dives! Keep in mind weather conditions. Sometimes surge, current, or waves can be hazardous. Ask at the shop prior to diving. Clarity was 100'. Max depth of wall/overhang at beginning of dive is ~55'. Lots to see. Turtles, 9' moray eels, squid, rays, midnight parrotfish, scorpionfish, trunkfish, trumpetfish,... More

We came here with our guide for our very 1st open water dive. We returned 3 days later to do our very 1st open water dive on our own after certification. Steve was fantastic and very patient in helping us to kit up and get the proper gear for us. He did an excellent job of helping us map out... More

Came here with two friends for our first dive without a guide after certification. We arrived on Saturday morning just as many locals were coming by to pick up tanks and head out for the first dive of the weekend. Ollen was extremely patient and helpful, especially with helping us pick our gear, map our dive, etc. He spent a... More

I wish I had the same experience that previous reviewers spoke of. I found the staff to be very rude and lacking in knowledge. The one who "helped" us was tall and thin. (Didn't get his name)When I rented my dive equipment, he were sarcastic if I didn't agree with him. I asked for a certain amount of weight and... More

A friend and I did two shore dives at Turtle Reef this past week. IMHO it is one of the best shore dives on the island. The reef is in excellent shape (much better than Eden Rock). Sun Divers is a professional operation and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Equipment rental was very reasonable and the operators gave us... More

Shore diving was great from Ollen Miller's Sundivers. Very easy but spectacular diving. School of tarpon was really cool.

Ollen Miller, owner of Sundivers, has shown us beautiful, relaxed dives with over the top personal service, both on his boat, and at his shore diving shop. We wouldn't dive with anyone else!

We are 3 women who like grand cayman because we can shore dive lots of places. Sundivers is always top notch. Easy dive to navigate and lots to see. The wall is teaming with life. Really nice place for photography. You have all that a wall has to offer but at 40 to 60 feet instead of having to dive... More
