This is the best shore dive on the island. We did a night dive on Saturday and had a great time. We saw several eels, octopus, lionfish, lobsters, crabs, tarpon and many other critters. Very easy access at Macabuca and Steve and Olin are always very helpful. After the dive have a drink or lunch/dinner at Macabuca.

This is the only place I could find on Tripadvisor to review Turtle reef. We took the bus out to the turtle reef, got our gear on and got in the water. Wow! Nice coral reef, then it drops off 40 feet then to about 65 feet. It was like snorkeling on top of a building! The water was so... More

Shore diving in Cayman is much cheaper than boat diving ($20 vs. $150) and while you are more limited on sites, Turtle Reef was very nice (aka Robert's Reef). Sundivers only rents tanks and weights so you will need to make sure you have all other equipment. The guy working the desk was a salty-old character, but he was nice... More

The dive site is at Macabuca restaurant (connected to Cracked Conch restaurant). Gorgeous mini wall with tons to see, especially heavy on the turtles at times since it is near the turtle farm. Staff at dive shop can be a little surly at times but they have good equipment at fair prices. The owner is willing at times to leave... More

This shop is at Macabuca / turtle farm dive site. They are very helpful and low-key. The facilities for gearing up are convenient and it is easy to get in and out of the water. The tanks are well maintained and filled and there are real facilities. To me, this is the absolute best shore dive on Grand Cayman -... More

Sun Divers is an excellent dive operation. Did my Nitrox certification with them, an excellent course and less expensive than in the states. Steve Sheed is a great instructor. Olin the owner is very helpful and informative. They go out of their way to assist, picking up your used tanks, analyzing your Nitrox tanks for you, etc. The dive site... More

Although this shop doesn't have a fancy website (that I know of) they are great dive shop. Steve was awesome and made me feel comfortable on my first dive ever. He explained everything I needed to know and always made sure I was safe and comfortable during the whole trip. I'm sure that some instructors may get bored explaining the... More

We came in on a Carnival Cruise in February and actually missed our boat diving guide (It was deinfitely our fault, my husband wasn't feeling well so we had a slow morning). We called the guide and he recommended Sundivers for a shore dive instead. I am so glad he did! The staff was super helpful and friendly. Even though... More

Just came back from a one week vacation in the Grand Cayman. It's been ~1yr since my last dive (St. Croix), and I needed to "ease back" into it. What better way than a shore dive with Sundivers! "Piot" (forgive my spelling) was my dive master, and he was very patient and accommodating. He gave our dive group (just 3... More
