An exact model of the first vehicle ever to be driven in the Cayman Islands — a 1905 Cadillac — has a place of special prominence in the museum.Of special interest both to children (and “adult children”) is the ultimate crime-fighting vehicle, the original “Batmobile” that squired Batman and Robin around Gotham in the 1960s television show. An exact replica of the “Batcycle” is also on display. Moviegoers will recognize the 1929 Yellow Rolls-Royce that appeared in the movie of the same name, and “royal watchers” will be attracted to the 1956 Daimler DK400, Queen Elizabeth II’s first limousine.Racing and speed aficionados will marvel at the sleek Ferraris (nearly a dozen classics, all in mint condition), Maseratis, Corvettes, and Jaguars. Magnificent Rolls-Royces (including a 1930 “Phantom”) and Bentleys (including Sir Elton John’s 1963 classic) abound, beckoning viewers back to an era of meticulous craftsmanship and unsurpassed luxury. The Museum is a great cruise ship excursion or a great place to spend an afternoon while on vacation to the Cayman Islands. Our gift shop offers unique auto memorabilia and souvenirs to the general public. The Cayman Motor Museum is also available for private functions and special events. « less

One doesn't normally go to the Caribbean to see car collections but while on Grand Cayman this museum is well worth seeing. Yes the cars are quite packed in but there is still plenty to appreciate here including a vast array of car-related memorabilia -- the 1950s diner is extremely good. A particular treat for Ferrari fans. More

My girlfriend and I were on the island last week and decided to check out the museum. I am an automotive enthusiast, and my girlfriend enjoys cool old cars as well. There were some interesting gems at the Cayman Motor Museum that really caught my attention. Of the vehicles that caught my attention were an early model Mercedes (1942) that... More

I live in the Cayman Islands but the Cayman Motor Museum was somewhere I had just never got around to visiting. Wow - what an experience! The gleaming Ferraris, the regal Rolls Royces, the fascinating three-wheelers...not to mention motorcycles from throughout the ages! Although I completely understand the previous poster's comments about the cars being close together, it's great to... More

Although we enjoyed the collection of items at this museum my husband and I felt that we did not get good value for our admission of 15.00 each. There were some awesome vehicles on display which we really wanted to get a better look at but all the pieces were absolutely packed in there to the point that we couldn't... More

We are truly sorry that you had a bad experience at the Cayman Motor Museum. One of our goals is to create a great visitor experience while also displaying the Caribbean's largest collection of unique automobiles. That said, we can understand if you thought there were too many vehicles in our space to truly enjoy them. We will address this... More

We enjoyed spending an hour or two at the very nice brand new museum in the West Bay area of Grand Cayman; just north of 7 mile beach. It was easy to find, a new building built especially to house this awesome and varied collection of automobiles owned by one gentleman. My husband is a British Car enthusiast; he enjoyed... More
