Warkworth’s version of Thorntons (but better)

A lovely bright little shop with the most gorgeous smell of chocolate. Lovely selection of hand- made chocolates and a small seating area for eating in. Expensive though.

We have had top quality "hot Chocolate" in Belgium and various chocolate outlets throughout europe. This is on a par if not better and at half the price. Food may be slightly overpriced but you get what you pay for. Excellent and a must visit if you have a sweet tooth.

Nice food by the way of croissants and small but delicious cakes. It is very expensive and the staff could be a little more friendly. If you need a special box of chocolates this is where to go but regular lunch is perhaps too much

My partner introduced me to Cabosse about 14 months ago and my waistline has never recovered. The chocolates are wonderful but the pastries are exceptional (if there are chocolate and almond croissants on offer don't miss them plus hot chocolate to die for). Louise who owns the business makes the most amazing pastry and is the loveliest person you could... More

Called in, doing the Coastal Route via all the Castles. Fabulous day so thought a call into Cabosse would be good to pick up a cake for tea. Chose two tarts which looked lovely, they turned out to be burnt and almost inedible and they were expensive, very disappointed

Beautifully looking cakes and pastries. Good but quite pricey. Don't think the chocolates are worth the price, we have had hand made chocolates which are head and shoulders above these. The Riverside chocolate house at Pentrefolas is much better.

Cabosse is just an extremely expensive chocolate shop that is great if you want to pay £3.50 for one petite four sized treat - they look great, but not worth the money.

Friendly staff. Warm, cosy and clean. Excellent chocolate products. For me the thick hot chocolate wins 5 stars. My son had green tea. The service is personal and quick. Reasonably priced menu and my first choice to spoil myself when I visit Warkworth. Parking outside is possible but Warkworth is a popular tourist destination and parking does become limited at... Firstly- check out Issy12's review below- this is spot on! To add our tuppence worth- we have been here on a few occasions , being one of the few independent places in Warkworth that we feel we should support/visit. We went February 2015 and it feels like there's been a change of ownership/management as the chocolates and cakes seemed different... More

The chocolates are beautiful, interesting flavours and very good quality. The hot chocolate in the cafe is amazing - a real winter treat.
