A great trip with Jim and Bindy giving informative points as well as informal chat. Busy in summer with not much wildlife seen on our trip. Apparently winter is better for marine life. A long trip, 8 hours, hence the price, but well worth it and good knowing that a tourist activity like this is helping to maintain a vital... More

Loved everything about our day with Jim and Penny when we were aboard. The two were welcoming and jovial. We learned a lot about the Sounds from its rich history to its present day economics. Plus, we got to see so much of the beautiful scenery and wildlife (green lipped mussels, dusky dolphins, lots of birds, and even a pet... More

Loved his humour and Scottish accent. Bindi his trusty helper was also wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. Saw and learnt about Mussel farming which was plentiful... More

Beautiful scenery, good narration from skipper, owner, Jim and his friendly assistant, Bindy. See mussel farms around the Sounds. With my husband and 20 other Lions from around the region we boarded the Mail Boat with Jim as our Captain. It was a beautiful day and our trip was made more interesting by the commentary from Captain Jim. We saw the Gannet sanctuary, going in very close and then to seal our day. Jim found us a huge pod...
