Reaching Monteverde after a long journey including a boat ride from Arenal, Hotel Fonda Vela was very welcoming. A huge room (look out for the insets though) overlooking the garden was a luxury. The Selvatura bus picked us up at our hotel and took us to the Selvatura facility in the Santa Elena cloud forest reserve. We stayed in cabin 4 which has two bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom w/shower - no tub, plus a living area with futon. One bedroom had a double and a single bed. The other had a double.
