There is not a lot to do at Sam Roy Yod, which makes it ideal for just relaxing. The Lealawadee is a simple hotel; semi-detached bungalows line a pretty swimming pool in smallish but mature gardens. The hotel reception, restaurant etc are in an open sided building which is separated from the beach by a small road. There are a... more

In May 2008 we were here for two weeks. It was so great that we stayed in February 2009 for two weeks again. This place is so private. So peaceful. You can only enjoy. The villas are great, beautiful furnished and clean. The gardens are beautiful. You will be pampered by your own butler. Just ask something and it is... more

Myself and my girlfriend stayed for a few days, it was a really nice place seeing how close it was to Bangkok, was really impressed with the beach and surrounding scenery. Nice little resort very quiet and lots of nature especially the bird life, great to wake up to in the morning. The rooms are great value and the food... more

This hotel falls far below its website advertised standard and prices would lead you to expect. The hotel consists of a small, basic bar/restaurant immediately adjacent to the road opposite the beach. Immediately behind this area is a small rectangular pool. Down each side of the pool are 8 'bungalows' or as my wife described them, concrete sheds. Each bungalow... more

Just back from 6 night stay in Hideaway. Still a bit confused as to the villa categories. The villa suite is the top category and then there is a duplex villa and a pool villa. In some UK travel brochures the duplex is an upgrade to the pool villa; in others it is the other way round. We booked a... more

My boyfriend and I at the time went here for a birthday celebration and a romantic holiday. After having a delay on our flight into Bangkok, we were going to get a light aircraft transfer to Hua Hin which the hotel had recommended and arranged for us. However, we were told that a guide would be there to meet us... more

The Six Senses Hideway certainly lived up to all expectations having stayed at their sister hotel in Koh Samui for our honeymoon in 2007. Although built on the same 'complex', the Hideaway and Evason properties are quite separate with separate spas, check-ins etc which makes The Hideaway feel all the more luxurious and worth the extra cost. Staff, as always,... more

We traveled with two young children, and were looking for a place to stay that had a nice pool and was near the beach. Friends suggested extremely expensive places, but we weren't really looking for that kind of experience. We tried to book Dolphin Bay Resort, but it was full. Lealawadee seemed like a good alternative. Generally, we were happy,... more

We have stayed in most types of room at the Evason over the years but have a soft spot for the pool villas where we have just spent 2 weeks over Christmas. This report might be a bit biased by our liking for the hotel. That said, we had not been back for 3 years and the rooms and the... more

We stayed 5 nights in a pool villa. The room size is not great (indoors), but the pool and garden are of good size. The resort is peaceful and beautifully designed resort with excellent service and quality of food. The breakfast 'à la carte buffet' concept is really superb. Resort dining options are many with the restaurants at the Evason... more

We stayed in Hua Hin for a couple of nights but were not overly charmed by it so we decided to move further down the coast to Pranburi. Lealawadee is a pretty simple place all round.
