It's a nice place, but don't expect much of a view. There are huge tanks planed next to the hotel blocking the view of the water. The hot tub didn't do much for me either -- view is blocked by the same tanks and the amount of chlorine is almost overwhelming. However, it is a good choice for the north... more

The staff is very kind and friendly, kind of like staying over at a friend's house. Make sure and have the dinner there, it was very tasty and the best meal we had in our 11 days of travel in Iceland.
