I had eaten in the superb resaurant several times and was delighted to stay a night there and enjoy their equally good breakfast which included superb home made bread. This was our 4th attempt to find a nice country place to stay not too far from Yeovil which we visit on business 3 or 4 times a year. Our first impressions were good - nice countryside and quiet village with green and impressive church spire. The outside of the hotel/inn was also in keeping and our hopes were lifted.... more
