This hotel was our base for 3 nights while we toured the d-day sights with a group of 40 Americans from a US Air Force base in England. We got there to no air conditioning and they had no fans. Leaving the windows open was the only option. There is a Bar/Club at each end of the hotel and it was so loud we could not hear the TV in our room. Sleeping was impossible even with earplugs as the Clubs did not close until 1:30 on weekdays... more

We stayed in a lovely B&B in Saint -Lo at La Thiaumerie to visit the Normandy Beaches. Our British host, Sally and Michael Byrne, made you feel welcome the moment you walked through the door of their 200 year old house.
