We asked our hotel for somewhere near to the hotel to eat before we set off for the airport home. We also wanted somewhere quaint with great food. Boy, did it deliver. Although obvious mainly greeks ate there, we were made welcome and had some marvelous food. If we ever go back we will eat there again. more
I've been to Santorini about 7 times & it is fantastic there. I try some restaurants but the best is Mario No.1 Taverna. The restaurant is magnificent and the service incredible. We stayed at Mediterranen Royal from 28.07-11.08.2008 and that was absolutely the best vacations we have ever had. Our room was with a terrace with an entrance to a small swimming pool where we had two private sunbeds and table with chairs (Attention: the swimming pool is for three different rooms not only for one).
