I regularly stay in Herford on business and would definitely recommend the Hansa hotel. It is centrally located and restaurants, shops etc are available as soon as you step outside the hotel. The staff are pleasant and helpful. I paid a little extra for a large single and received a large double room which was perfect. There is parking available,... more

We stayed for only one night owing to an unexpected problem at home, but we found that this was a very pleasant hotel, very friendly (with excellent English) and very understanding. Nice breakfast room and balcony. Not the easiest to find, but well worth it. more

My wife and I were planning on staying here for the weekend as we were visiting friends in Herford. Unfortunately we managed to get thrown out of the hotel before setting foot in it. This is a record for me as have never been banned from anywhere in the past ( and I have been on some very festive rugby... more
