We just returned today from an overnight stay at Harnas Wildlife Santuary outside Gobabis, Namibia. Harnas had been highly recommended by several friends, whose kids all loved petting the baby lions, seeing the wild dogs, cheetahs, leopards and other cats as well as the resident tortoises and giraffe. We had a fantastic vacation /hunting experience The accomodations were great- two separate bedroom suites and sitting area upstairs in their home lodge. Aldalene and Janneman Brand have a nice lodge on the western edge of the Kalahari Desert. While it is mostly geared toward someone seeking a plains game hunting experience, they will go the extra mile to accomodate their guests.
