Hi This is a long review, but I couldn't cut down anything about our experience... We were in NZ for our honeymoon, and planned to start our South Island tour with Wanaka. Good hostel and clean facilities - nice bar downstairs but note that they play loud music late down there so if a quiet nites sleep is what you desire look elsewhere. The walls are pretty thin but the value for money is good if you want a decent room in central wanaka for less than 100 bucks. I would go... more
Great Everything. Service was top notch, pools were awesome, rooms were updated, clean and room service was GREAT. Food in restaurant was great and bar staff was exceptional. Wanaka is great. We spent 3/11 nights in town. If I was going to do the south Island over again, I'd spend half here and half in Queenstown. I'd skip the Glaciers,... more
