Yes, it is high priced..,and yes,we had to wait until 5p.m. for our room to be ready...and yes, the restaurant food was only mediocre. All that said...there is no place on earth like the Old Faithful Inn (the closest thing is the Wilderness Lodge at Disney World...Walt designed his lodge after the Old Faithful Inn). The food was OK but not great! We opted for the buffet and it may not have been the best choice. more
We stayed in one of the cute yellow stand alone cabins ( it was a bit more private then the duplex cabins) and enjoyed it very much. The cabin was small and cozy but comfortable and clean.
