This was one of the few places open for dinner in Gering on a Sunday evening. There were only 4 other guests there when we arrived (that should have told us something) and by the time we finished our dinners, we were the only ones left. RECENTLY RENOVATED? Fake stucco was falling off the walls, bedspread was torn across top of bed, bathroom was so small that you couldn't face forward on the toilet and the windows didn't open so I could air out the room. POOL? Where, I never found one. FREE BREAKFAST? Again, I never found so much as a cup of coffee. more

This hotel is now the Monument Inn and Suites. This is a budget-priced place, but the amenities don't reflect that. It's a very good deal.
