“Great place to stay”

We stayed when it was Bahia Mar and loved it! Now that its Hawthorn Suites we decided to stay and give it a try. The room was clean and cleaned everyday (stayed 4 nights), everyone we came in contact with was very nice. They have a nice breakfast in the lobby, that was very good (adding more hot stuff later).... more

Many shows to keep the kids active. Dolphin show is very fun. Wide host of animals including fish, jellyfish, crabs, sharks, otters, birds, dolphins, sting rays, sea turles. Indoor and outdoor activities. Nice observation deck... great views of beach, water and USS Lexington next door. There is a play area for the kids located next to a picnic area. Price... more

Food: Very overpriced for not to large portions. The food was okay but it something that I could have gotten at home for a better price. You have to ask for bread-they wont just give it to you.
