Cabins on the ocean were never updated since 1928.Beds uncomfortable.cabins very dirty.Nest of insects found under the couch.No parking to cabins had to hike half a mile to unload things we had brought.No kitchens or barbeques.We had three cabins and they were seperated from each other.Spiders were aplenty.Had to have staff clean veranda full of spiders.Restaurant food was atrocious and... more

Visited this Guest House on the basis of the review on this page, and were really pleased we did. We arrived mid-afternoon and were greeted with a glass of wine and a full explanation of what was where and the extent of the property. this hotel was only open for two weeks prior to my stay. the service was polite. the room was nice and clean. and for breakfast we made waffles!! the only downfall was no hot tub :( more

our dining experience started off great. the waitress was helpful and the food was served promptly and the atmosphere was comfortable. but towards the end of the meal our waitress seem to disappear. no dessert was offered and we finally just got up to pay our bill. overall it was good food and worth it more

We are a family with two boys (aged 9 and 11) and we loved our stay at Blackberry Shore.
