August is hot in Natchez - maybe the reason only a few rooms were taken mid-to late week. Perfect for us. Wife and I went with another couple and we had the Ernestine room. We spent three nights in Natchez a few weeks ago and had a really good meal here. In particular my catfish smothered with crawfish etoufee was one of the best things I had on our vacation.
