Have visited Malta for 20 years. This hotel was the best. Excellent food -all buffet, great presentation, quality and quantity. Staff were polite, pleasant and efficient, particularly the restaurant staff. Our room appeared to be unre furbished, but it was on the graund floor and comfortable. Have booked again for 2010. more

From airport by taxi drivers could do with lessons, Hotel very nice, clean and staff ready to help. Room. Clean but could do with a refurd, balcony looked out over street and some time very busy. Sauna nice but could do with a refurb along with the indoor pool. Sauna costs 2euros per person for 15 mins. Food was fair... more

Arrived at porto azzurro hotel, Xemxija (NOT ST PAULS BAY) approx 1.5 miles away. Unfriendly welcome by hotel staff apart from time share rep. Rooms were dirty facing building site ,couldn't have windows open due to dust and builders starting at 6.30 am every morning, ripped and blood stained bedding only to be replaced by more ripped sheets. Nice new... more
