We stayed here as part of a tour package and liked the way the hotel looked from the outside and found the lobby quite attractive. Out room was bigger than most we'd seen in Iceland and the beds your average two twins pushed together to make a full bed. The duvets are nice. The bathroom has a door in it... more

This hotel is a 30 min drive from Geysir and Gulfoss. Rooms are ok, good size and good beds. The bathroom is a bit small and outdated but everything is clean. Stayed here for one night and found the hotel to be basic but very clean and staff very helpful. There is no pool at this hotel but ask at reception for directions to the local pool and jacuzzi which is only a few minutes walk away - amazing to be swimming or in the jacuzzi with snow falling! more
