Thankfully as part of our self drive holiday in Iceland, we only stayed here for one night. The Good As the Hotel is in the middle of the countryside, we had little choice but to have dinner at the Hotel, which considering 'the bad', see below, was actually very good. I blame myself for this one. I changed our itinerary at the last minute and opted to stay closer to Reykjavik and this was the guesthouse we we booked in to. This is a modern hotel with beautiful spacey rooms and a nice, well sized bathroom. It's located directly at the golf course. Rooms that face the golfcourse have a wonderful view. The lady at the reception gave us a warm welcome. Management showed interest in their guests. Rooms have tv with a good variety of tv channels, including a movie... more
