Located at 6300 feet, Lake Sevan can only be enjoyed in the summer months. This hotel is considered expensive and for the rich/famous in Armenia. In any sensible location this would be a really enjoyable place to stay. However, as other reviewers have observed, it is isolated in a not particularly scenic area near Lake Sevan. Rather isolated, and a long way from anywhere else. The rooms are trying to be "boutique", but they are rather dark brown. The reaturant, (the only real option", is some 5 minutes walk or short drive. There are some very interesting walks nearby, (watch for the Azeri border), and don't let the isolation put you off.
