We checked a couple of other motels nearby and after looking at the rooms, we kept looking until we got to this Hampton. The room was very clean, nice bedding, and the staff was very nice, polite and even spoke english. On top of that, it was less expensive than the other not-so-nice nearby hotels. Four of us took the morning tour in May 2009 while there for the weekend of Fernandina Beach Shrimp Festival. It is ok Asian. Terrible sushi menu. The food seems pedestrian for the price. I don't mind spending money on food but the value is not there. The seared tuna salad is nothing special and the rainbow roll had creamcheese and nothing else mixed in al ost seems as if they have become lazy because every review seemed good. I... more
