We stayed here for two nights in the early part of a cold November. The place was quiet and we slept well, but if there had been any other guests we felt the noise would have travelled around the inn. Pay extra for a room with a view on the top floor - well worth it. The swimming pool was larger than most - which was a nice surprise. The restuarant was a big disappointment. Not a very welcoming sight, definitely needs to be restyled and modernised. The breakfast was unappetising. The porridge was cold and had to be reheated.... more
