First of all this hotel isnot in Asheville downtown even we won it at priceline NYOP in this area. The rooms are very dated, worn and maximum 2* level. We stayed at the Grove Park for three nights. While the setting and the views are spectacular, the rooms are nothing special. We had a "mountain view" room and it was quite small and plainly furnished--definitely not worth the price. The hotel itself is beautiful and has an interesting history as a "grand old hotel."
