We were here in October, 2009, and stayed in the motel portion. The best part of our stay here was its proximity to the downtown Bar Harbor area. Location was great being right on the water and in the center of town. Our room was lovely, seemed very luxorious; however the buidings and grounds needed some attention. Had special Lobster Bake (baked stuffed lobster). Thought we'd be getting a whole lobster w/stuffing in the body cavity, however, it was lobster en casserole. Pretty good, not great. $26 included clam chowder and brownie. Paid extra to upgrade dessert to cheesecake. Worth a try if you've not been there before. more
