I stayed at the Days Inn Guam Airport South for 2 days in April. I'll just get straight to the point with this hotel: Rooms: Old and a bit shabby, but however clean. A trip from Cairns, Australia to Manila, Philippines was interrupted by a stopover both ways in Guam for 14 hours. You need a car to get here as it is a long drive along a potholed road through a military zone. The gate closes early. The sandy white beach is long and unspoilt. Great for picnics and barbecues in the shade of the natural forest. The whole place is wild and unmanicured. Great for spending the whole day. No good... more
