Had the Ulu for a couple nights at the end of May and will only stay there for every trip to come. Hands down the best place to stay on the island if you don't need a beach outside your door (only short drive to Poi'pu). Stayed at the Princeville and Grand Hyatt and neither had anything on Mrs. Lorna's... more

My husband and I just returned from eight wonderful days at the Kauai Banyan Inn. We did a fair amount of research when we planned this trip--Kauai was the only island we visited.
