“Good base for trips around the island”

The Kauai beach house is a large character house, right on the Kapa'a walk /bike path and bus lines. There are a couple of awnings and tents out front that provide an outdoor setting if it isreally raining, if it isn't raining then I'd recommend getting out during the days and exploring the island. “Super Pizza in Paradise”

After our adventuresome day we stopped for a quick pizza and loved the super supreme pizza. Other Italian dishes looked good too. The also had a nice assortment of brews on tap including their own "Rooster Brew" by Keoki Brewing...yummy! more

My wife and I hiked this trail in the afternoon. We did the Eastern trail which was not difficult- gains the most elevation but over a longer distance. Earlier in the week, others reported that they could not make it all the way up due to recent rains. The picnic table area offers some nice views but you really need... more
