The new vamped Luke's Placerestaurant in the Kohala Village Inn is nicely decorated with the vintage Aloha decor,revolving ceiling fans,art work on the walls,open air cool breeze. Wish we had read and listened to the reviews on this board telling us to give this restaurant a pass. We arrived in Hawi around lunchtime and decided to dine there. Restaurant was half full, lots of wait staff around. Seemed to have contact with many of them... hostess, someone bringing the water, another person taking the order...then the wait......... more
