Buckrail Lodge

Oct 9, 2008

Even though I live in southwest Florida, I still found the hotels in Jackson to be overpriced, in general. The Buckrail Lodge, however, provides great value to the other properties in town. It is very clean, the owners are very helpful and friendly and it is convenient to many of the shops and restaurants in the city. I stayed here... more

This was a nice surprise in Jackson. A very comfortable hotel, close to central Jackson. While not the cheapest, we thought it was a fair price given the location. Clean, comfortable, would definitely stay again. more

Anglers Inn

The Anglers Inn was a good choice for Jackson Hole. It was on a quite side street but close enough to walk to the sights downtown. It was a bit expensive, but everything in Jackson Hole is expensive. After passing through Yellowstone and the Tetons and meeting a lot of nice people, we found Jackson Hole pretentious. We were there... more

Stayed in the Painted Buffalo for 2 nights in September as part of an escorted tour (Jetsave) and will return. Plusses include ... 1) The room was spotless, 2) the 24/7 coffee in Reception - hits the spot just nicely, 3) internet access (FREE), again, at reception, 4) location - a 5-minute ramble to the main square, 5) friendly personnel... more

Snow King upgraded my husband and I to a Love Ridge condo unexpectedly - and we loved it! It's brand new with granite countertops, fabulous finishes and every detail taken care of. It's more than spacious, with a huge sitting room, kitchen, dining room with huge table, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped laundry room with detergent provided, large soaking tub, walk... more

Calico Italian Restaurant

Another review states that this is a noisy, sub-par establishment. I completely agree. The moment you walk in, you cannot hear yourself think. I ordered meatballs, which were pasty and underdone; the sauce was heavily spiced and tasted more Mexican than Italian. For a superior dining experience in Jackson, at an equivalent or lower price, go into town to Trio. more

Like the other reviewers, we found the accommodations comfortable and clean, the rooms charmingly appointed, and the hospitality ne plus ultra. Peter is an outstanding chef, so if you are able to participate in a Bistro Night, please be sure to add this experience to the incredible breakfast presentations each morning. Peter and Jenny are charming hosts, and we only... more

Wyoming Inn of Jackson Hole

The Wyoming Inn is a perfectly lovely hotel. We were spending a week in Wyoming, mainly to take in Yellowstone and the Jackson area. I had done research on the internet and found their rates to be the best ($179.99 per night) for what the hotel seemed to offer. I was specific in my booking, asking for a room on... more

Wyoming Inn of Jackson Hole

Oct 5, 2008

This is the classic Jackson Hole rustic style Inn, except that it has modern, clean facilities inside. We were impressed with the level of 'front desk courtesy' and we were immediately given the key to our room, a map of downtown Jackson, and recommendations regarding dining and nightlife. Two things stand out as big flops (for such a highly rated... more

Visitors will definitely enjoy their stay at the Wildflower Inn. It is a beautiful and immaculately clean home in a beautiful area. I can't think of a single reason why anyone would be unhappy here. Of course, you have to be able to afford it ... it was expensive ... but the rates appear comparable to the other B&Bs we... more

This is the place to stay in Jackson,Wy. Close to everything downtown. Clean, comfortable, quiet, easy parking. Would stay here again in an instant. Front desk staff were all very nice. Eat at Jedidiah's Sourdough instead of the Bunnery (Bunnery was overpriced & very poor service). Jedidiah's is off the main center of town by a block, very good food,... more

Jackson, or Jackson Hole as I call it, is a great little town, busy in Summer and Winter, but the last time I visited I had the very best of customer care and nice accommodations at Snow King. The staff was very professional and always had a positive attitude. Even though this resort sees so many visitors, the staff treats... more

I learned of this wonderful lodge after reading a forum on trip advisor. The lodge is small, only 12 rooms, but everything looks extactly as on the web site. It is located in a residential area well within walking distance of downtown. The layout is like a motel with rooms surrounding an open area with cars parking in front of... more

This place was nice, and for Jackson a price we could live with. The room was clean, they have two hot tubs one indoor and one outdoor, that provided a nice break when traveling with young children. The morning breakfast was great, They have an entire restrauant next door, that is used only for the hotel breakfast, and the place... more

Recently my wife and I spent two nights at the Bentwood Inn in Jackson, WY. While it is a bit difficult to find, it is well worth the effort. It is a beautiful log structure about five miles outside of Jackson on heavily treed property. The Inn is quite impressive as one drives into the driveway. But the real beauty... more
